Underground Utility Surveys
Overview:
Record information is inherently out of date and may contain inaccuracies or transition errors. Utility providers rarely provide route information within private sites. Site owners have historically struggled to coordinate service information onto consistent and reliable media which can be used on site.
Our Aim:
• Reduce and avoid injury to personnel
• Reduce and avoid damage to infrastructure services
• Reduce and avoid damage to plant and machinery
• Reduce and avoid delays
• Provide a safer working environment.
How we can help:
To assist our clients in their risk reduction strategy, we can offer a site mark out service of pipes and cables. This will utilise electronic locating equipment and optionally (site dependant) Ground Probing Radar for non metallic services.
An experienced and competent operative can supplement, or provide stand alone support for HSG47 compliance. Site mark out of recorded (and in some cases unrecorded) will provide the on site engineer confidence in selecting areas which have minimal risk.
